Daniela Paradisi is a 36-year-old woman graduated from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB). She studied Public Accounting from 2002 to 2007.
Daniela currently works independently as the director of Los Lagos Gourmet, a food company that specializes in empanadas and Chilean sweets. She decided to work on this project because she wanted to formalize the family business, which has existed for more than 20 years.
She chose the UCAB because her older sister studied there. Daniela was attracted to the university’s environment. She has always liked numbers, so she started studying Systems Engineering. However, she later discovered that Accounting was more to her liking, so she decided to switch to that career.
During her studies, Daniela volunteered at the university and visited Hogares Bambi, located in Antímano.
The experience was very good, I felt useful for being able to help children in a situation of abandonment.
Since she was in her fifth semester, Daniela worked in an international auditing firm called Deloitte. She worked there until she graduated in 2007.
As for the scholarship fund, Daniela believes that it is necessary for people to continue betting on education.
I hope people will continue to contribute not only financially but also with their experience in order to help those students who, with effort, want to finish their studies in the midst of an economic situation as difficult as the one we are currently going through. In them is the future of the country.
