The Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB) has been ranked #65 in the QS Latin American Ranking 2017, according to the QS web site which seeks to rank and catalog the universities around the world based on their academic performance.

The UCAB was founded by the Society of Jesus, one of the oldest organizations worldwide that works towards achieving and enhancing education. The university is committed to forming human beings who are at the service of the community to which they belong. Because of this, the UCAB stands out in both undergraduate and postgraduate careers the academic preparation as well as the values instilled in the students.

Teaching is not the only characteristic that differentiates the UCAB from other universities. Likewise, it also has research centers of social nature, which are some of the most developed in Venezuela.
